When a user takes too much time to complete the onboarding process, the login will expire. The user needs to restart the login process.


When you receive the following message: "The bot encountered an error or bug: Code: InvalidAuthenticationToken Message: Access token has expired or is not yet valid", it means the authentication token has expired.


To solve this issue, the user must log in again.


  1. Authenticate with the user account to Microsoft Teams.

  2. Click on the Waldo app and go to the chat tab.

  3. Type "logout".

  4. Type "login" and sign in again.
