Applicable plans: ❎ The free plan, ❎ The complete plan
| Waldo allows administrators to define Work From Home (WFH) and office presence limits for users or teams. These policies help control how many days users can work remotely or be present in the office. |
1 - Create the policy
- Go to the Waldo management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app
- Sign in using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Navigate to Policies, then click Add presence policies.
- Define the maximum number of WFH and/or office days.
- Choose how Waldo should handle limit overruns:
- Deny overage – users cannot exceed their WFH or office limit.
- Allow overage – users may exceed the limit, but they will receive a notification in their Waldo calendar.
- Set when the presence is recommended or required, at home or at the office.
- Save the policy once all settings are configured.
2 - Assign the policy to users
- Go to Users page and from the list, select the users you wish to apply the policy to.
- In the Presence Policy field, assign the policy you created.
- Save your changes.
Once applied, users will be guided by the defined policy, and their behavior will be restricted or notified according to the selected rules.
