💡 If you see an Update button in your Waldo app, that’s your signal: a new version of Waldo is available. This update is a technical one to prepare for the Copilot chat transition.

Don’t worry. If you don’t click the update, nothing will break. Your current version will continue to run just fine. However, we recommend updating so you’re ready to access the Copilot agent as soon as it becomes available.

As part of this change, the Chat tab will be renamed Activity, and the current Waldo bot will switch to read-only mode. You’ll still receive notifications, check in, and access your calendar, but chatting with Waldo will no longer be possible.

Want to update for everyone?

If you’re an M365 admin, you can update Waldo for all your users at once. No need to rely on everyone clicking individually.

Here’s how:

➡️ Click Update.
And you’re done.

ℹ️ This will push the latest version of Waldo to your whole organisation, so everyone stays in sync.
