For whatever reason, you may need to deactivate a desk (when a desk is under maintenance, for example). Here's how you can do that. |
You will need Waldo management portal administrative privileges: office owner, area owner, or organization administrator.
- Go to the management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app
- Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Desks and parking, then Resources, navigate through your buildings and areas until you reach the desks list.
- Click on a desk.
- Click on Desk deactivation, then click Save.
When you deactivate a desk, Waldo will cancel all upcoming bookings for that specific desk. Anyone who had a booking will automatically be reassigned to a new desk.

Can we schedule when the desk will be deactivated and reactivated in advance to prevent disruption?
What happens what you deactivate a desk, is the current assigned employee(s) automatically reassigned? Does it affect all current assignements and future assignements until it is reactivated?

No, that’s not possible at the moment.
When you deactivate a desk, Waldo will cancel all upcoming bookings for that specific desk.
Anyone who had a booking will automatically be reassigned to a new desk.
