As you may know, we recently experienced performance issues with our API during peak usage times — especially on Monday mornings in Europe. This affected independent services such as the Bot (and the check-in notifications) which also encountered outages.
✅ The good news: first improvements are now live.
Here’s what we’ve done:

Optimized database service execution

Split certain services to ensure smoother resource allocation

Created dedicated handling for scenarios like parking check-in
Since these changes went into production, we've already noticed stronger performance and improved service availability.
We’re also preparing an update for the Bot:

It will switch to notifications-only, simplifying authentication
-
Users will ask questions via the Waldo Copilot agent instead
This shift will make the Bot lighter, faster, and easier to maintain — while paving the way for smarter interactions using generative AI.
