Applicable plans: ❎ The free plan, ❎ The complete plan
Setting presence rules is great. Knowing whether they’re actually followed without turning into a full‑time detective 🕵️ is even better.
With the Presence and WFH policies export, you can finally compare theory (your quotas) with reality (actual declarations) in just a few clicks. It’s your go‑to tool to spot the office lovers or those who may enjoy their couch a bit too much.
Why you’ll love this export 💡
- No more cross‑checking multiple complicated spreadsheets. This export gives you a clean snapshot to:
- Identify employees who don’t meet their mandatory office days.
- Spot users exceeding their work‑from‑home limits.
- Understand whether your policies match the actual use of your buildings over a selected period.
How to generate your report
- Open the Admin Portal.
- Go to the Metrics tab and click Export.
- In Export Type, select Presence and WFH policies.
- Select a building. This step is mandatory. Without a building, the Generate button stays grey.
- Choose the period you want to analyse and click Generate.
How to read your export
Your CSV file reveals everything about the selected period (weekly or monthly depending on your policy setup). Here are the key columns:
- User Name & User ID: To know exactly who you’re looking at.
- Policy Name & Limit Type: The rule name and whether it applies to the office (Office) or home (Home).
- Target Days: The number of days the user is expected to complete.
- Actual Days: The days the user actually declared in Waldo.
- Delta: The key metric. Positive or negative, it tells you instantly whether there’s something to investigate.
- Status: Waldo makes it even easier by labeling each user as Compliant or At limit.
ℹ️ Information: Waldo relies entirely on the declarations users make in the app. If someone comes to the office incognito without logging it in their calendar, Waldo can’t guess it.
