I wanted to address a common and very important question: Does a person with higher priority get allocated a desk before someone who booked earlier?
The answer is, 'You can't really book earlier with Waldo :)".
Let me explain with the image below:
But… you may be a high-priority user and still not get your favorite desk.
Let’s consider an example:
Emma has high priority and decides not to come to the office in ten days, and Bob, with lower priority, decides to come on that day,
Waldo might suggest Emma's favorite desk to Bob (if it's the last available desk in the area), or Bob might choose it manually.
If later on, Emma changes his mind and decides to come to the office, she won't get his favorite desk.
Note that Waldo will always try to book desks that haven’t been selected as favorites by others.
If desk B2 is Emma's favorite desk, Waldo will always try not to suggest B2 to Bob.
