This article describes how to set up a map on the Waldo management portal.


If you'd like, based on a draft plan that you provide, we can create a beautiful office space design using your own branding + look and feel. Simply contact us for more information. 


To set up the map feature, you will need to upload your office map as an image (png, jpg). Maximum size is 10MB per map.




1 - Request your map design

2 - Upload your map

  1. Go to the Waldo management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app

  2. Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.

  3. Navigate to the Maps page, and click on Add a new map.

    Note : 
    If the map you upload is intended for an office building, make sure you have created one. If the map is for an area, make sure you have added the area within the office building.


  4. If it says, "Waldo licenses are required to activate this feature." you can contact us to activate your free test.


  5. Type a map display name and then upload your map image. It must be a PNG or JPG file, less than 10MB.

3 - Place desks

  1. Once done, select a desk from the left column, then click on the map to place the desk.


  2. Click save.

  3. If you'd like to add more maps (floor 1, floor 2, etc.) for the same office, click on the " + " icon.


4 - Place points of interest

  1. Click the point of interest you'd like to add (such as a fire extinguisher, etc).


  2. Click on the map to place the point.
