Before deploying Waldo, you may need to explain to your users why one would use Waldo and how one would use Waldo on a day-to-day basis. We can help with this final step by creating a short personalized video for you (featuring your maps, area names, etc.). |
Here is the video template we'll use to create your personalized video:
And here is what we'll need from you in order to create your personalized video:
1 - The logo
- We will need an HD logo with a transparent background.
2 - The screen recordings
We'll need five short screen recordings of you using the Waldo application (that shows your information on the screen: e.g. your areas, your map, your language, etc.).
Don't worry if your screen recordings are shorter or longer than the template.2.1 - Screen recording 1: areas
Record yourself performing the same actions as the video template from 00:00:45 to 00:01:10.
2.2 - Screen recording 2: map
Record yourself performing the same actions as the video template from 00:01:11 to 00:01:21.
2.3 - Screen recording 3: change seat
Record yourself performing the same actions as the video template from 00:01:21 to 00:01:34.
2.4 - Screen recording 4: change parameters
Record yourself performing the same actions as the video template from 00:01:34 to 00:01:55.
This screen recording (change parameters) is optional. If you don't provide us with this video, we'll just use the template version.
2.5 - Screen recording 5 : change week pattern

3 - How to record your screen?
There's an easy way to record your screen using PowerPoint.

4 - And then what?
- Once all the above is done, zip your files (logo + recordings).
- Save them to your OneDrive or SharePoint, and create a Shared URL (of course, feel free to use any other file sharing method that you prefer).
- Open a ticket in the customer portal, then select "Create a Waldo customized video", and specify the shared URL to download your files. It will take our team 4 to 5 days to create your video.
