If you don't want to give total control to the administrator(s), you can delegate certain administrative permissions to specific users.



1 - Principles


RolePermissions
Organization administrator- Full access to the Waldo portal
Office owner- Can rename an office
- Can create, rename, delete areas in the office
- Can create, rename, delete desks in the office
- Can assign or remove office areas to/from any user
- Can assign area owners
- Can manage one or several offices
Area owner- Can rename an area
- Can create, rename, delete desks in the office
- Can assign or remove office areas to/from any user
- Can manage one or many areas
License administrator- Can assign or remove licenses to/from any user
- Can manage one or multiple subscriptions



2 - Set an office owner


  1. Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app..

  2. Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.


  3. Under Resources and then Offices, click on the office you wish to assign an office owner to.
  4. Set the office owner.



3 - Set an area owner


  1. Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app..

  2. Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.


  3. Under Resources and then Areas, click on the office you wish to assign an area owner to.
  4. Set the area owner.


4 - Set a license administrator


  1. Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app..

  2. Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.


  3. Under Users and then Users again, click on the user you wish to serve as license administrator.
  4. Under Administrator roles, select License administrator.


  5. Under License administrator, select the subscription you'd like to manage.
