When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can simply free up their desk. Additionally, Waldo can cancel the user's upcoming bookings. Here's how it works. |
1 - How it works
When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can:
- Free up the user's desk. This is the default behavior when the check-in feature is enabled.
- Ask the user to double-check their upcoming bookings.
- Cancel the user's next bookings. In this case, the user will need to manually rebook their desk, and their booking will be considered after others.
2 - Set up the check-in rules.
Here's how to set up these rules:
- Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app.
- Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Desks and Parking then Resources, edit the properties of your building.
- Enable the rules.
In the example below:
- Waldo will ask the user to confirm their weekly calendar if the user doesn't check in two times in one week.
- Waldo will cancel the user's next bookings if the user doesn't check in four times in three weeks.
