When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can simply free up their desk. Additionally, Waldo can cancel the user's upcoming bookings. Here's how it works.

1 - How it works

When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can:

  1. Free up the user's desk. This is the default behavior when the check-in feature is enabled.

  2. Ask the user to double-check their upcoming bookings.

  3. Cancel the user's next bookings. In this case, the user will need to manually rebook their desk, and their booking will be considered after others.

2 - Set up the check-in rules.

Here's how to set up these rules:

  1. Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app.

  2. Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.

  3. Under Desks and Parking then Resources, edit the properties of your building.

  4. Enable the rules.

In the example below:

  1. Waldo will ask the user to confirm their weekly calendar if the user doesn't check in two times in one week.

  2. Waldo will cancel the user's next bookings if the user doesn't check in four times in three weeks.
