Updating several users at once can save you a lot of time, especially when your organization grows or changes quickly.
💡 Here are the three ways to do it from the Waldo admin portal.
1 — Select multiple users manually
If you already know which users you want to update, this is the quickest path.
- Go to the management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app/
- Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Users, manually select the users you need to update.
- Click Update x users…
- Choose the action you want to apply.
Simple, direct, efficient.
2 — Use an Active Directory group
Perfect when your users are already organized into AD groups (teams, departments, sites…).
- Go to the management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app/
- Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Users → Filters, click AD groups.
- Select the AD group containing the users, then click Apply.
- In the left pane, click Update x users…
- Select the action you want to apply.
A great way to keep Waldo aligned with your Microsoft 365 organization structure.
3 — Use an email list or a CSV file
Ideal when you receive a list from HR or an external system.
- Go to the management portal: https://admin.hellowaldo.app/
- Authenticate using your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Users → Filters, click Email (bottom of the list).
- Paste your list of emails, then click Apply.
- Select all users by clicking Username, then click Update x users…
- Choose the action you’d like to apply.
