🕵️♀️ Why don’t I always get an instant notification when I move from queue to booking? |
💡 Here’s how it works
Waldo sends instant notifications only when it makes sense — that means not too early, not too late.
We avoid sending a notification if you’re already going to get the information in your regular daily notification. So, here’s the rule:
- If you get your spot before your daily notification is sent → ❌ no instant notification
- If you get your spot after your daily notification is sent → ✅ instant notification
ℹ️ Example
Let’s say your daily notification goes out the day before at 4:00 PM:
- You move from queue to booking at 10:00 AM → you’ll get the info in your 4:00 PM daily notification → ❌ no instant notification
- You move from queue to booking at 6:00 PM → daily notification has already been sent → ✅ instant notification is sent right away
⚠️ This is to avoid spamming users with duplicate information — and to keep notifications timely and helpful.
