Applicable plans: ❎ The free plan, ❎ The complete plan
When an area is full, Waldo manages reservations differently, depending on which version you use. |
With the Free version
Reservations are on a “first come, first served” basis — no priority system here.
If your preferred area is full, it’s off-limits. Even if you have priority status, you'll need to pick a different area or opt for remote work.
With the Paid version
By default, Waldo processes reservations nightly, 10 days in advance.
Waldo’s golden rule: “Once a user is assigned a desk or a parking spot, they keep it.”
If the area is full, Waldo automatically places you on a waiting list.
- If the reservation has already been processed (typically 10 days ahead), your place on the waiting list is prioritized. You’ll get a spot if someone cancels.
- If it hasn’t been processed yet (beyond 10 days by default), Waldo will assign a desk based on your priority. There's no waiting list yet.
What do "Reservation requested," "Reservation made," and "Person present" mean?
When you view the waiting list in an area, you’ll come across different status types. Here's what they mean:
- Reservation made: These users have a confirmed desk reservation in this area.
- People on waiting list: These users requested a desk but the area was already full or their priority wasn’t high enough.
- Person present or Reservation requested: These are users on the Free plan, automatically added to the waiting list since desk reservations aren't guaranteed for them. To avoid confusion, we suggest not mixing Free and Paid users in the same area.
