To make Waldo’s configuration smooth and effective, here are some questions you may want to ask your HR representatives. These details will help you align Waldo with your company’s policies and practices.
📋 Work from home policies
- How many WFH days are allowed? Is that per week, per month, or per year?
- Is there a limit on the number of office days? Same question—per week, month, or year?
- Can employees go over the limit?
- Is there a specific day when users should work from home?
- Is there a specific day when users must be in the office?
- Do you have one or multiple WFH policies?
- If several policies exist, which groups of users follow which policy?

👥 Team days
- Is there a specific day when a team must be at the office all together?

🗺️ Areas and who goes where?
- Should areas be considered as team departments (HR area, IT area) or as zones (Blue zone, East area, etc.)?
🗓️ Booking in advance and priorities
- How high is the pressure on office space? (In other words: is there enough desk space for everyone?)
- Who is supposed to have a dedicated fixed desk?
(Even then, Waldo is useful to know when and where they are.) - Are there users who should be considered a priority?
- Are there users with a disability? Do they need a specific desk or parking spot?

- Do some users need a dedicated desk, for privacy reasons or because they require specific equipment? Do they need to share it when they're away?

- Do some users need a dedicated parking spot? Do they need to share it when they're away?
✅ Data reliability and check-in for desks and parking
- Would you like to enable check-in? for desks? for parking? for meeting rooms?
(If users don’t check-in, Waldo frees up their desk and makes it available to others.)
