When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can simply free up their desk. Additionally, Waldo can cancel the user's upcoming bookings. Here's how it works.
1 – How it works
When a user doesn't check in, Waldo can:
- Free up the user’s desk. This is the default behavior when check-in is enabled.
- Ask the user to double-check their upcoming bookings.
- Cancel the user’s next bookings. The user will have to manually rebook and will be queued after others.
2 – Set up the check-in rules
Here’s how to set them up:
- Go to the management portal: https://app.hellowaldo.app
- Authenticate with your Microsoft 365 account.
- Under Desks and Parking, then Resources, edit your building’s settings.
- Enable the rules.
In the example below:
- Waldo will ask the user to confirm their weekly calendar if they miss check-in twice in one week.
- Waldo will cancel their next bookings if they miss check-in four times in three weeks.
