You are about to install Waldo. Here is exactly what will happen, step by step, so you know what to expect.
Are you the Microsoft 365 admin for your company?
If yes, keep reading — this article is for you.
If no, go here instead: I'm not an IT admin — what should I do?
Step 1: Click Continue with Microsoft (30 seconds)
You will be taken to a Microsoft login screen. Log in with your Microsoft 365 admin account. This is the only login you need — everything happens from here.
Step 2: Grant permissions (1 minute)
Microsoft will show you a permissions screen asking you to approve Waldo's access to your organisation's data. This is a one-time action, and you are the only person who needs to do it. Your team members will skip this step entirely when they first open Waldo.
Click Accept. You have not done anything wrong — this is completely normal.
Step 3: Configure your office layout (2-3 minutes)
Waldo will guide you through a few quick setup questions:
- How many offices do you have?
- How many desks in each?
- Do you want to manage parking?
- Do you want to manage meeting rooms?
Do not worry about getting everything perfect. Every setting can be changed at any time from the admin portal.
Step 4: You're done
That's it. You are now ready to invite your team. When they open Waldo for the first time, they will see a quick permissions screen of their own, and then they can start booking desks.
